3. Copyright Rules & Design Content Guidelines
Trademark Ownership
- Artwork Integrity: When you upload file packages to our system, you take absolute legal responsibility for all graphic content, brand assets, and text layouts.
- Copyright Restrictions: Submitting custom packaging designs to our team acts as your legal guarantee that your artwork does not use unauthorized text, copyright elements, imagery, or corporate trademarks. All layout content must be unique and directly tied to your valid brand identity. Unauthorized copyright use can trigger severe legal penalties.
Compliance of Printed Material
- Customer Responsibility: The text and graphics printed on your packaging depend entirely on you. Pack Custom Boxes and its print divisions are completely exempt from liability concerning copyright infringements or layout errors.
- Data Safeguards: We secure corporate profiles using advanced server encryption. To review our security tools, please read our separate Privacy Policy page. Because we work hard to protect your records, buyers are expected to thoroughly double-check the text data they want printed on their custom boxes.
4. Digital File Submission & Proofing Requirements
Technical Pre-Press Standards
- Resolution and Format: To achieve a sharp, high-quality print, all graphic design files and print-ready formats must be compiled at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) and configured exclusively in the CMYK color spectrum.
Proofing Verification & Approval
- Pre-Print Sign-off: Our design team will provide digital, electronic proofs based on your submitted files. The client holds absolute responsibility for inspecting, proofreading, and approving all text, alignments, and layouts before printing begins. Pack Custom Boxes is not liable for spelling issues, typos, grammatical errors, or styling omissions in customer-provided graphics.
- Post-Approval Modifications: Once you provide formal design confirmation, our shop initiates custom plate-making immediately. Any subsequent modifications to your layout will stop progress and incur additional design plate fees. We reserve the ultimate right to reject artwork that falls below our quality baseline or contains inappropriate elements.
5. Color Consistency & Packaging Materials
Color Variance Realities
- Press Limitations: We run advanced custom printing equipment to replicate your submitted files as closely as possible. However, due to the physical limitations of ink keys and fluctuating digital color codes, we cannot guarantee absolute color matching or exact ink densities.
- Surface Variables: Visual results are directly affected by screen calibrations, neighboring ink densities, and the porous qualities of paper stocks. For color-critical orders, we strongly recommend that you provide or request a physical hardcopy sample before giving full clearance.
Stock & Board Selection
- Available Materials: We stock premium-grade packaging materials, offering high-durability Kraft papers, standard cardboard sheets, rigid setup boxes, and multi-layered corrugated cardboards.
- Environmental Factors: The final visual appearance and endurance of your boxes can be altered by long-term storage conditions, localized moisture levels, and transit handling. Any premium upgrades or specialized material additions chosen after checkout will incur extra material fees billed to your order total.
6. Order Volume Variances (Overruns/Underruns)
- Quantity Fluctuations: Our printing lines work to deliver the exact number of custom items ordered. On bulk wholesale runs, custom printing frequently yields a minor excess quantity, which we include with your delivery at no additional charge.
- Shortage Mitigation: While receiving fewer boxes than ordered is incredibly rare, equipment calibration can result in minor piece variances. We strongly advise buyers to factor in an additional 5% to 10% volume safety buffer when ordering to completely eliminate the risk of a minor shortage.
7. Invoicing & Payment Gateways
- Currency Standard: All financial transactions, item invoices, and price estimates are calculated and processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
- Advance Payment Rule: Custom box printing and design plate preparation will not start until your invoice—including product fees, local taxes, and shipping fees—is cleared in full.

9. Tiered Order Cancellation Policy
Because commercial raw materials are allocated and custom printing plates are generated immediately following confirmation, cancellations are processed via a strict time-window protocol:
- Up to 4 Hours Post-Confirmation: Order cancellations or design amendments are permitted without financial penalties.
- Beyond the 4-Hour Mark: If a cancellation is requested after 4 hours but before printing lines receive the files, a 20% processing fee of the total invoice amount is withheld to cover digital setup losses.
- Within the 4 to 24-Hour Preparation Phase: Cancellation requests received within this active prep window carry a 50% deduction from the total invoice. This charge covers the costs of physical plate engraving and ink mixing.
- After 24 Hours or Printing Starts: Once paper stocks are cut, scored, or printed, orders cannot be canceled, altered, or refunded under any circumstance.
10. Indemnification & Liability Exemptions
- Legal Indemnity: You agree to fully defend, insulate, and hold harmless Pack Custom Boxes, along with its directors, team members, suppliers, partners, and affiliates, against any third-party lawsuits, damages, or legal expenditures (including attorney fees) arising from:
- Wrongful or unauthorized actions while utilizing this website.
- Claims asserting that the custom artwork or design layouts ordered by you infringe upon a third-party copyright, design patent, or proprietary trademark.
- Claims that your custom-printed messaging contains libelous, defamatory, scandalous, or legally obscene material.
- Unauthorized breaches caused by a user compromising password-protected areas of our server.
- Warranty Disclaimer: Pack Custom Boxes provides all design and custom box printing services strictly on an “as is” basis, without express or implied warranties. However, our internal quality assurance teams thoroughly check every custom order to eliminate printing errors and assembly defects.
- Liability Caps: Pack Custom Boxes will not be held liable for indirect commercial losses or incidental business damages. Our total financial liability shall never exceed the exact dollar amount paid to us by the client for that specific packaging order.
